160-bed long-term care home *
residential care for 96 private beds and 64 basic beds* 24-hour nursing and
personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals
Additional services and facilities:
- bedding and furniture
- laundry and housekeeping
- meals
- personal hygiene supplies
- medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies
- assistance with medication and activities of daily living
- recreation and social programs
Additional services and facilities:
- physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- restorative care/activation therapy
- palliative care
- advanced foot care
- hair dressing
- music, pet and art therapy
- volunteer program
- pastoral care with interdenominational services provided by 14 area churches
- Southampton Care Centre 4 interim beds (residential care for hospital patients waiting for long-stay admission) * publicly funded * residents have access to the same services as long-stay residents
