Description of Services:

160-bed long-term care home * residential care for 96 private beds and 64 basic beds* 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals

bedding and furniture
laundry and housekeeping
meals
personal hygiene supplies
medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies
assistance with medication and activities of daily living
recreation and social programs

Additional services and facilities:

physiotherapy and occupational therapy
restorative care/activation therapy
palliative care
advanced foot care
hair dressing
music, pet and art therapy
volunteer program
pastoral care with interdenominational services provided by 14 area churches

Southampton Care Centre 4 interim beds (residential care for hospital patients waiting for long-stay admission) * publicly funded * residents have access to the same services as long-stay residents
