Description of Services:
Municipal office that determines eligibility and registration for accessible transit service for people who are not able to use conventional public transit
- DARTS Shared ride service * provides door-to-door transit employing vans, wheelchair accessible Promasters and contracted taxi services * works under contract with Accessible Transportation Services (ATS), a department of the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR)
- Taxi Scrip Program Discount taxi fare program for people unable to use conventional public transit * registered users receive 40% discount with local taxi companies
