Description of Services:
Care of cardiac patients requiring cardiac diagnosis and treatment

Clinics:
   
  • Cardiology Outpatient
  • Echocardiography Lab - Examination of the heart and related structures using sound waves (adult and paediatric)
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) Lab - Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity within an individual's heart (adult and paediatric)
  • Pacemaker (paediatric)

Same-Day Procedures:

  • Cardiac Catheterization Lab - X-ray techniques to study the heart
  • Transesophagael Echocardiogram (TEE) Room - Specialized form of echocardiogram, producing images of the heart from inside, rather than outside the body

In-Patient Units:
 
  • Coronary Care Unit
  • Inpatient Unit
  • Perfusion
