Description of Services:
The program is referral service that connects clients adults aged 65+ and adults aged 18+ with a disability in the Halton region, Mississauga, or South Etobicoke with handypersons (Home Maintenance and Repair (HMR) Providers) * HMR providers are small businesses or local individuals looking to give back to their community by offering reliable services at a affordable rate * all HMR Providers are required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening and undergo an interview process to join the program * services are available for a fee and can be scheduled as one-time appointments or on a regular basis

- minor general repairs and painting
- odd jobs
- safety bar installation
- packing and unpacking items
- cleaning and organizing
- carpet cleaning
- grass cutting and gardening
- eavestrough and gutter cleaning
- window cleaning
- screen/storm window installation
- replacing door locks and window catches
- snow removal
